The renewed collaboration
The parties announced the continuation of the IPD–UIC Barcelona Classroom in Digital Innovation. Alongside established teaching activities, the renewed arrangement puts additional emphasis on research projects in digital dentistry.
Who the programme serves
Activities are aimed at students, faculty on the school’s master’s programmes and dental professionals, particularly those working in restorative dentistry.
Seminars and hands-on teaching
The announced programme includes three seminars on the impact of digitalisation on clinical work, the changes to workflows and restorative options, plus a theoretical and practical course addressing current digital techniques.
What this announcement does not establish
The collaboration is evidence of a teaching and research arrangement, not a report of clinical trial outcomes, measured restoration accuracy or superiority of any particular IPD product.
Why workflow education matters
Digital accuracy depends on the chain from implant connection and reference scan body to compatible CAD library, manufacture and clinical verification. That is why our learning resources connect individual parts with the workflow around them.

Important interpretation
An educational programme and future research activities do not themselves validate a specific device or establish clinical performance.
