The exact value instead of an estimate

Tightening torques IPD fixation screws

Find the torque by reference, compatibility, platform or screwdriver.

The table contains technical values for standard Ti, TiN and BLC screws, angulated TPA screws and special IPDmilled screws from the IPD 2026 catalogue.

The table is a technical reference, not a substitute for the current Instructions for Use

If there is any discrepancy, the value on the current label or blister of the specific product and the valid IPD Instructions for Use take precedence. Pay particular attention to TPA, Multi-Unit, SRA and IPDmilled references.

How to use the table

Reference first, torque second

1

Read the REF

Use the designation on the packaging or confirmed product documentation.

2

Compare the system

Check the compatibility and platform stated in the same row.

3

Verify the screwdriver

The correct geometry and size protect the screw head from damage.

4

Confirm the Ncm value

Before tightening, check the label, blister and current Instructions for Use.

Important differences

The same system may use several torque values

Values in the technical tables range from 10 to 35 Ncm. They differ between implant and abutment level, standard and TPA channels, and individual platforms.

Important information for use

The table is a reference tool. The label of the specific screw takes precedence.

The torque finder helps with identification, but final verification must be based on the current label, blister and Instructions for Use for the specific reference.

  • Do not automatically transfer the torque value between standard, TPA, TiN or BLC screws.
  • Products are supplied non-sterile; sterilise according to the current Instructions for Use.
  • If in doubt, send technical support a photograph of the label or blister.
