IPD lecture · approx. 60 minutes
Joint technical session: Matouš Záhorec / Know-how Dent × Miroslav Diviš / IPD. Matouš Záhorec is a professional trainer with many years of experience in CAD/CAM technologies and implant prosthodontics.
The technical session is not designed as a product-kit presentation. It follows the complete data chain from repeated acquisitions through AssistLogiQ to the point where digital validation ends and responsibility passes to CAD/CAM manufacturing and clinical verification.
A good-looking STL is not proof of accuracy. Trueness vs. precision, and why one scan is not enough.
Stitching drift, long scan paths, soft tissues and distal regions.
Data Set 1 / One Shot iQ → Data Set 2 / 4× Scan Flag iQ → Data Set 3 / Reverse iQ, and how they relate hierarchically.
Why the main question is not “how many degrees can the system handle?”, but whether Scan Flag iQ is fully seated and optically accessible.
Outlier filtering → stitching-drift correction → multi-pass / ICP fusion of two or more 3D datasets → 6DoF output.
Linear and angular residuals, node-level checks, E-codes and internal tolerances without disclosing proprietary cut-off values.
Why Data Set 2 remains the geometric reference and Reverse iQ should not overwrite it.
Validation of the digital reference versus errors introduced by milling, printing, CAM, sintering and laboratory processing.
What the study actually demonstrated, what can legitimately be concluded from it, and why individual measured values are not a universal clinical guarantee.
Six rapid clinical scenarios. The audience votes: can detect / cannot detect / it depends.
One Shot iQ, Scan Flag iQ selection, correct versus problematic scan paths, AssistLogiQ / E-code and Reverse iQ.
